Jason began his career in the customer service arena as a bi-lingual call center supervisor dealing in highly sensitive cases involving medical related insurance subrogation in Boston Massachusetts. Because of the sheer amounts of money involved and the lives affected, it really shaped his point of view on the customer experience journey and also how to best communicate with a customers in highly emotional situations. In his mid-20’s he left his hometown of Boston and drove across country to Los Angeles, CA to start a new life and find new opportunities.
He joined a small consulting firm that focused on managed IT services for small to medium companies. The Firm targeted those offices that did not yet have an IT support team or solution. It was here that he really sharpened his customer experience strategy and used data to help prospective clients understand the value proposition. It was during this time that he completed an Executive MBA program designed for working professionals. He was able to continue to work full time and also worked towards his post graduate degree. In early 2013, after several months and multiple interviews, Tesla offered him a positon. Jason had officially joined the mission of transitioning the world to sustainable energy.
He was fortunate enough to be in a position to join the team that helped open the Pasadena location in 2016 and in his time with Tesla he has experience managing several Los Angeles retail locations including Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks and currently the Manager the Tesla Flagship store at the Glendale Americana. 8 years with Tesla has provided Jason with an incredible front row seat to customer relationship building and maintaining a customer first culture. He looks forward to leveraging his experiences to bring relevant industry experience to the table.
