Mike Locy is an experienced product leader who emphasizes the importance of understanding the customer’s problems, clearly articulating your own differentiated value proposition, and executing a successful plan.  As the Director of Product Management for Viasat’s Global Business Solutions group, Mike and his team bring products to market that solve the connectivity and communication challenges faced by business customers all over the world.

   Mike has over 20 years of experience in developing winning products and leading high performance product management teams in both the Semiconductor and Telecommunication industries.  He has learned that the deeper the product manager understands their customer’s current experience, the more successfully they can offer a better one.

   Mike obtained his degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, served as a submarine officer in the US Navy, and received his MBA from Santa Clara University.
