Award-Winning Television Executive, Mentor & Speaker Described as a “positive force of nature” by CBS’s then chairwoman, Nina Tassler, Angelica lives up to the title, boasting a 27-year career in the entertainment industry,differentiated not only by her achievements but her empowerment of women and voices of color. Making her start in radio at 15, Angelica graduated to television at Telepictures/Warner Bros. as a development executive and director of new media before transitioning to CBS. With a tenacity and ability to understand what resonates with viewers she was quickly promoted, crowning her tenure as EVP of Daytime Programs. Overseeing more than 1,200 original episodes every year and 32 million viewers weekly, Angelica was responsible for beloved daytime dramas and game shows alike, from The Young and the Restless to The Price Is Right. Most notably, Angelica launched The Talk and claimed over 230 awards, including 116 Daytime Emmys. Angelica has won seven Imagen Awards for her creative achievements as a Latina in the entertainment industry, and has been named one of the “35 Women Under 35 Running Hollywood” in Glamour magazine and one of the industry’s fastest-rising stars in The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen. Currently the EVP of Strategy and Development for Litton Entertainment, Angelica is involved in all aspects of the company's operations and works with executives at Litton parent company Hearst Television on strategic initiatives. Angelica is the founder of Raise Women, connecting WOC in media and tech with female leaders in their industry through mentorship, and the proud mother of two young daughters who inspire her to help other women get a seat at the table – or create their own. |
