With over 29 years of professional experience, Helen has dedicated the last 17 years to various leadership positions in the design and architectural profession. Currently the Managing Principal of IA’s Los Angeles office, she is also a member of IA’s Executive Leadership Team responsible for setting and implementing the firm’s strategy and vision; contributing to the firm’s continued growth, both globally and through the expansion of services. Additionally, Helen is the Executive Sponsor for the firm’s Strategy team, assisting with the on-going evolution of that discipline.
Prior to joining IA, Helen was Sr. V.P. and Managing Director at Epstein, a full service architecture, MEP and Interior Design firm. Since joining IA, Helen has continued to expand her leadership expertise and knowledge in part by coaching and mentoring professionals, both new and experienced, in support of their on-going career development goals. Helen is currently engaged in ongoing studies in the areas of Positive Psychology and Neuropsychology to support designing and nurturing high trust, and high performance teams and cultures, supported by forward thinking and innovative built environments.
