Houssem Tasco is an astute and well-respected luxury hotel executive, currently serving as Director of Hotel Operations for the world-renowned Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where he has been pivotal since pre-opening in building and maintaining its luxury service to the Forbes Five Star standard, receiving the accolade every year the hotel has been open, including its first.  Houssem prides himself in the culture he has cultivated within his team, and equally important to him are the relationships he has fostered with his esteemed clientele and travel partners, as well as industry colleagues.
 
Before Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Houssem worked for The Peninsula Beverly Hills and Fairmont beachfront properties in both California and Maui.  He credits his extensive experience in operations for his hands-on approach, and his sales experience for the acumen that drives his business decisions, while always having high-end guest expectations in mind as a win/win approach for both the organization and the clientele.
 
Due to his ability to learn, adapt, and grow through change, Houssem has been able to navigate and lead his team through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, as he is determined to continue delivering the ultra-luxury service for which he is known, while keeping his team united, and morale high.  His philosophy of impeccable customer service, luxury, and consistency continues to drive his passion to deliver positive financial results, while exceeding customer expectations with a bespoke feel and experience.
 
A native of Tunisia, prior to his relocation to the US, Houssem had an established hospitality career there, where he worked in senior operations leadership roles at various four and five star hotels in Tunisia’s popular resort cities.  Fluent in English, Arabic, French, and Italian, and with proficiency in Spanish, Houssem has a deep appreciation for diversity, and is a world traveler who enjoys learning about different customs and cultures.
