Marlene has over twelve years’ experience in supply chain management encompassing international trade & compliance. Throughout her career, Marlene has managed several diverse teams leading organizational changes and streamlining initiatives. She is currently a RISC - Compliance Director at Arvato Digital Services LLC. In her role, Marlene manages an array of Compliance departments consisting of IT Security, trade compliance, environmental health & safety and dangerous goods, in addition to physical security compliance, government contract management and overseeing all organizational compliance needs for North America.
Marlene works with the interdisciplinary Supply Chain Management (SCM) business leaders Globally. The SCM team consists of Solution Design, Business Development, Account and Operations teams, in addition to the central function departments, who Marlene directs on the respective compliance regulations and responsibilities. Marlene also partners with various government agencies and essential business affiliates, including but not limited to USDA, FCC, EPA, DOA, FDA, DOT, CBP, OSHA, BIS and freight forwarders, among many other global government agencies, implementing efficient system controls and cost saving developments to ensure compliance requirements and procedures are carried out effectively. In addition to her experience, Marlene has received a B.A. in Business Management from Cal State University, Northridge and an MBA in International Business with an emphasis in Finance from Cal Lutheran University. She is also currently pursuing her Executive Doctorate of Business Administration at Pepperdine University so that she may innovate and become a stronger leader and visionary in today’s world of business. |
