Ramin Baschshi, M.D. currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of UCP of Orange County. UCP of Orange County provides comprehensive services to more than 5,300 children and families affected by developmental disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and developmental delays. “I am humbled and honored to be representing an organization that ensures a child’s true potential while strengthening the family unit.
My commitment is to enhance and create opportunities for UCP-OC to become a premier charity in our community, while increasing referrals and support services.” Dr. Baschshi also serves as Chair of the Children and Families Commission of Orange County. The Children and Families Commission of Orange County is a leader in responding to children’s needs and supporting programs and policy best practices for children’s health and development. Previously, Dr. Baschshi served as Chief Operating Officer of Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles. Baschshi is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Xavier University School of Medicine in 2008. She earlier earned Bachelors of Science degrees in Biology at California State University, Fullerton in 1999 and Medical Science at the University of Sint Eustatius in 2003. She lives in Lake Forest with her husband and three children. |
