I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I studied Hospitality Management. I moved to New York in 2004 with my wife and our one-year-old daughter. I have been happily married with three children (1 girl and 2 boys), and I currently reside in Irvine, CA, where we have been a total of 12 years. I enjoy playing and watching soccer, as well as riding my motorcycle, and I am also an avid golfer.
I have over 15 years of experience in operations. I am focused mostly on guest and employee experience.
I am currently the Director of Operations at Terranea Resort. I have been with the company since 2009, where I was part of the pre-opening team. In between now and then, I took two years off from Terranea and moved to Austin, TX, to assist my previous employer in establishing their culture for a resort that they acquired a few years back. I returned to Terranea in 2018 where I have been responsible for the Resort Operations and a member of the Resort's Strategy Committee, reporting directly to the President. Most recently I have been in charge of creating and implementing our Operations Reopening Plan, including the development of a Sanitation Plan, compliance with all protocols provided by the County Health Department as well implementation of the guidelines distributed by the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the California Hotel & Lodging Association.
Prior to Terranea Resort, I had roles with The Luxury Collection from Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
While I am very involved in the strategy behind providing our guests and associates with the best experience, I am a very hands-on leader who coaches and leads by example. It is key for me to understand the roadblocks to help remove them. I am a problem solver and thrive in and thrive in a high pace, all hands on deck environment.
