Saun G. Hough serves as the Vocational Services Administrator at SHIELDS For Families Inc., a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, CA. Saun is an accomplished Workforce Development professional, working exclusively with underserved communities including incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and adults.
Saun is also an experienced Community Organizer, advocating for the right to equity, civic engagement, and anti-discriminatory hiring practices in the State of California. He was worked to pass several anti-discriminatory propositions and was instrumental in the creation and passing of the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative & Hiring Ordinance. Saun serves on the UCLA Reentry Community Advisory Board, International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Advisory Board for the National Hazardous Waste Worker Training Program, and serves as the Associate Pastor of Crossroads United Methodist Church, located in Compton, CA.
