Scott Loeschke has nearly 30 years of experience in public service, leadership, and all facets of infrastructure management. He currently directs engineering and maintenance for North Country Transit District, which provides 11 million passenger trips per year in a 1,000 square mile area with commuter trains, hybrid rail, and buses. His focus includes implementation of facilities to support the transition to zero emissions buses, comprehensive customer wayfinding, and railway improvements to enable increased service frequency.
A retired U.S. Navy Captain in the Civil Engineer Corps, Scott served around the globe and culminated his military career as Director of Facilities for Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, where he led development and implementation of a strategy to optimize Marine Corps infrastructure investment and implemented energy strategies for renewable energy and resiliency projects. Scott is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, holds a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, and completed the Stanford University Executive Program in Strategy and Organization. |
