Jim Johnson currently serves as the Vice President of Account Planning for VDX.tv, a global advertising technology company. In his day to day role, Jim partners with his clients to consult on all aspects of their digital advertising campaigns, merging qualitative data with quantitative consumer insights to deliver measurable advertising outcomes. In addition, he has authored several thought leadership pieces in publications such as AdWeek, eMarketer and HuffPost, as well as representing VDX.tv as a speaker, moderator and panelist at industry conferences globally.
Prior to VDX.tv, Jim worked as a Media Planner for global ad agency Carat on brands including Reebok, VH1, RadioShack, Motorola and Wells Fargo. He also worked at Boston University as an Event Planner and Financial Advisor, roles he held while simultaneously earning an M.S in Advertising from their College of Communication. In addition to an M.S., he also holds certificates in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University, and Customer Experience from Rutgers University. He earned a B.A in Journalism from Keene State College, splitting time between undergraduate studies and the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he learned the importance of leadership and teamwork that has sustained his personal and professional growth ever since.
