Customer Services Supervisor, Finance DepartmentNicole Roesler has over 25 years of experience in the administration and management in the non-profit housing and behavioral health programs and municipal government. Nicole has worked for the City of Poway since 2016 and manages the Customer Services Division in the Finance Department. The division is responsible for all aspects of water and sewer billing and service, manages the City's cash handling systems and performs the accounts receivable functions, and processing and issuing regulatory licenses, business certificates, and home occupation permits.
Prior to joining the City, she served as the Special Projects Manager at the San Diego Workforce Partnership, the local Workforce Development Board. She administered a portfolio of federal employment and training programs evaluating workforce strategies emphasizing human centered approaches to improve service delivery and outcomes for job seekers and employers. She previously worked at Mental Health Systems, and non-profit behavioral healthcare organization, for over 14 years in several positions including Marketing Director, Chief of Staff, and Operations Manager. Nicole currently serves as Board Chair of the County of San Diego’s Community Action Board which administers programs for low-income individuals including the Community Services Block Grant and Refugee Employment Services for the region. She received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from San Diego State University. Nicole grew up in Encinitas, and now lives in central San Diego with her husband and daughter. |
